Taylor Allen was born and raised in Windsor, Connecticut. She played volleyball as well as ran track for all four years of her high school career. She was a part of the first ever conference winning volleyball team in school history, and won several conference, state, and regional 1st place awards in track and field. She also competed at the national level in track and field for three seasons.
After high school, she earned a scholarship to play Division 1 volleyball at Niagara University in Niagara Falls, NY. With an extra year of eligibility due to COVID-19, she once again obtained a scholarship to complete her MBA at The University of West Georgia. She spends her summers playing volleyball and coaching. For the past two summers she coached at the private high school Loomis Chaffee in Windsor, CT.
She is a middle blocker with a high volleyball IQ who can easily develop rapport with players. She is enthusiastic about the game and it translates to both her play and her ability to mentor players.
