Southern Brazil Relief Fundraising Clinic

Dear Parents,

I’m not sure if you’ve seen the news reports, but Southern Brazil (where Coaches Machado, Luciano, and Juliana, as well as Manuella’s father are from) is experiencing devastating flooding.

In fact, Coach Machado’s mother’s home is completely underwater, and his family has lost everything. The picture below shows the roof of her home. :(

As we all know, M2 is a family, and our coaches are a critical part of that family. We would like to do something to support Coach Machado, and we know many of you would like to contribute as well.

To help out and give the girls an opportunity to play more volleyball, M2 is going to host a special fundraising All Skills Clinic on May 14th from 4:30-6pm. This All-skills clinic is open to all M2 players and non-M2 players, and all fees will go directly to Coach Machado’s family. The clinic fee is $60 per player.

The clinic is open to the first 80 players who sign up. If you aren’t able to participate but still want to help out, we will be open to receiving your donation and forwarding it to Coach Machado.
